Please join us on January 17 from 5:30 – 8:00 PM for a screening of I am Jane Doe, followed by a panel discussion.
“I AM JANE DOE chronicles the epic battle that several American mothers are waging on behalf of their middle-school daughters, victims of sex-trafficking on Backpage.com, the adult classifieds site that for years was part of the Village Voice. These mothers have stood up on behalf of thousands of others, fighting back and refusing to take no for an answer. I AM JANE DOE has helped to catalyze legislation filed recently in the House and Senate.” – https://www.iamjanedoefilm.com/
Following the film screening, guests will hear from: JS & Nicola, a survivor and her mother from the film; film director Mary Mazzio; and Palm Beach County Mayor Melissa McKinlay.
The event is free to ensure as many community members as possible can attend. Advanced registration required. Please register here.
