Coffee and conversation with Deborah Meyer, CEO of Moving Traditions!
Join us at the home of trustee & B.O.D. member, Ellen Kaufman, for an intimate conversation with Deborah Meyer, CEO Moving Traditions, one of our current grantees.
Moving Traditions emboldens teens by fostering self-discovery, challenging sexism, and inspiring a commitment to Jewish life and learning.
JWF provided a grant to Moving Traditions for their initiative Healthy Sexuality: Creating and Launching a New Model for Jewish Teens, which is designed to help teens participating in Moving Traditions’ signature programs, Rosh Hodesh and Shevet Achim, and in other Jewish programming to identify and resist sexualization, and to create a healthy Jewish sexual ethic as a guide for their daily lives. Moving Traditions held a national training conference in 2017 to prepare Jewish educators to facilitate honest and healthy conversations with teens about sex and sexuality and help teens navigate these complex issues.
